Again with the disclaimer: All measures are incredibly approximate, because I don't measure.
5 Granny Smith Apples
1 Mackintosh Apple (It was just lying around)
1/2 package of fresh cranberries
1 cup raisons
3 tablespoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon ginger
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup multi-grain hot cereal (I didn't have enough oatmeal)
2 cups evaporated milk
4 cups water
1. Core and peel the apples. Cut into bite size chunks.
2. Add cranberries, apples, and raisons into bottom of slow cooker.
3. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Toss to coat.
4. Pour the oatmeal and multi-grain on top of the fruit.
5. Pour the milk/water over the oatmeal, so that the liquid level just reaches the top of the oatmeal
6. Turn the slow cooker on high and cook until its done (to be updated how long it actually takes, ~4 hours)
Update: I forgot to add sugar. Add sugar. It needs it. Or brown sugar. Or Maple syrup. Or molasses. Anything. It doesn't need much, but it does need some.
